How can I make a diamond shine brighter

Easy Steps for making your diamond look brighter

Step 1: Take warm water in a small bucket. Never use the sink basin directly because you do not want your diamond to be accidentally washed down the drain.

Step 2: Mix a very small amount of detergent into the warm water.

Step 3: Put your diamond in this soapy water to soak for five minutes.

Step 4: Take separate warm water in the second bucket and mix some ammonia-based glass cleaner. Keep in mind not to use chlorine-based cleaners.

Step 5: After ten minutes, remove your diamond from the first container and put it in the second container.

Step 6: Remove the diamond from the solution. Thereafter, clean all sides of the diamond with a soft brush gently. 

Be careful with the jewellery with a prong-based type of setting. Do not brush it vigorously because the prongs may catch the bristles and become loose.

Step 7: After completing the process of brushing, put your diamond back into the solution of detergent and water. Wash off the loosened dirt by brushing the jewellery within the solution.

Step 8: Rinse the diamond in clean running water. 

Step 9: Now, dry the diamond with a lint-free cloth.

Tip: Keep in mind not to allow the water to evaporate from diamond by itself because it can leave some water stains on your diamond which will make it dull.
