FAQs
1. Is the Jade Shivling at Gem Selections made of natural jade?
Yes. Our Shivlings are carved from natural jade, not glass or dyed substitutes. Each piece is unique, so slight variations in shade and pattern are normal.
2. Can I keep a Jade Shivling at home?
Yes. A Jade Shivling can be placed in a home temple or puja room. Many devotees keep it facing east or north, in a clean, quiet spot. Follow your family tradition or consult your priest for specific guidelines.
3. What are the benefits of worshipping a Jade Shivling?
Devotees believe it promotes peace, emotional balance and positive energy, and that it helps focus during meditation and prayer. These are spiritual beliefs and not guaranteed outcomes.
4. How do I clean and care for my Jade Shivling?
Wipe it gently with a soft, damp cloth and dry it. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive scrubbing. Water, milk or panchamrit abhishek is fine, but wipe it dry afterwards to preserve the polish.
5. Which size should I choose?
Choose a smaller piece for a compact shelf or travel altar, and a larger one for a dedicated puja space. Check the size and weight on each product page before ordering.
6. Do you deliver across India, and how is the Shivling packed?
Yes. Orders are securely packed to protect the carved stone in transit. See our Shipping Policy for delivery timelines and our Return Policy for conditions.
