Each gem, whether an heirloom sapphire or a recently acquired amethyst, holds up distinct dazzle. But to keep your precious stones defying the test of the time, some tender care occasionally is essential.

·       Sea salt- to rejuvenate your own gemstone, cleaning it with  sea salt and water can be an effective clean cleansing agent. Caution: avoid using salt water, if your gem is brittle or appears with a lot of holes. 

·       Moons energy- get your gemstone to interact with the mystical energies of the moonlight. Simply place your gemstone under an open sky so that your precious stone imparts significant lunar energies. Or you could simply consider washing your gemstone with more light charged water. By placing a glass of water under an open sky on a full moon followed by thoroughly, cleansing your gem with that water.
