How to test an astrological gem ?
Wondering how to
"test" gemstones during a specific period? There is no definitive way
to assess a gemstone, and there is no correct or incorrect response to the
testing process. Some individuals may develop an immediate attachment to their
gem or have positive experiences right away, while others may not notice any
significant differences, and that's perfectly fine. As long as the gemstone is
correctly prescribed, and there is no internal resistance to purchasing it, it
will probably produce positive outcomes over time.
We recommend paying close attention to your instincts and inner feelings, being mindful of where you store the gem to avoid losing it and making an effort to connect with and enjoy the gem while you have the chance to do so. These gems are rare and exquisite natural creations that should be an enjoyable and fascinating experience for you to explore! The following are some suggestions that may be beneficial when assessing a gemstone for suitability.
Using the gem in meditation
Meditation is a straightforward
technique that quiets the mind, allowing for a clear connection to be
established with the stone. Alpha and theta brainwaves are activated during
meditation, making it easier to notice subtle influences on physiology.
Alternatively, you can simply
sit with your eyes closed, focus on your breath, and hold the gemstone in your
hand for a few minutes to observe how you feel once your mind and body settle
down.
You may also place the gemstone on the center of your chest (heart chakra), on your forehead (third eye), or on its corresponding planetary finger during meditation.
Sleeping with the gemstone
under your pillow
This is the method used when
testing a Jyotish gemstone. Again, there is no right or wrong experience when
it comes to gemstone testing - some people are sensitive to gemstone energy,
and others are not.
Seek feedback from friends and
family
Conduct a muscle test on it
Muscle testing, also known as
kinesiology, is an effective way to obtain a “yes” or “no” answers about a
person's physiological compatibility with a product or object. The most
straightforward method is to apply pressure to an extended hand to see how the
body responds to what is being held in the other hand.
Research has demonstrated that
kinesiology is reasonably effective if done correctly, making it worth trying
if you have the opportunity to do so.
Secure the gemstone with
medical tape
Before discovering silver
tester lockets, the most commonly used method for testing gemstones was to wrap
them onto a finger using medical tape. Over the years, many people have left
our office with bandaged fingers.
If you don't want people to inquire about the cause of your finger injury, you can also tape the gemstone to your chest. While wearing it, we suggest avoiding showering or getting the tape wet. If necessary, use enough band-aids to keep the stone secure.
Keep the stone in your wallet
This is another simple method
of keeping a gemstone close to you for a few days. Keep it in a small bag
inside your wallet to easily locate it. Even if a gemstone is not touching your
skin, simply keeping it in and around your energy field can have a significant
impact.
Check your heart and gut
After spending some time with a
gemstone, most people know whether they like it or not. However, some
individuals become overly analytical during the testing process and cannot
decide what to do after the trial period ends. In such cases, try to quiet your
mind and ask your heart to make a decision.
